Welcome to Wedstock
The latest issue (no 11) of Brides Etc magasine includes a feature entitled ‘Welcome to Wedstock’ and tells the story of the beautiful country wedding of Sarah and Rob in July.
It was an amazing day with lots of fantastic details handmade by the bride and groom and their families. Cath Kidston style paper windmills became the place settings and table numbers and bunting, some of which was made from material from the groom’s baby blankets saved by is mum, adorned the marquee, inside the church and the fabulous trailer that took the bride and groom to their reception venue.
Cake stands for ‘High Tea’ were made from vintage plates and sherry glasses glued together. Very clever.
The ceremony took place at Walkern Church and the recption was held at Church Farm, Ardeley. (Which has a fantatsic farm shop by the way).
